KBK Defeats Sunnova Motion To Dismiss

On May 3, 2024, the United States Disctrict Court for the Central District of California denied in substantial part Defendant Sunnova Energy Corporation’s Motion to Dismiss.

Plaintiff, an elderly monolingual Spanish speaker, alleges that Sunnova authorized its agent Greenspire LLC to create an email address to which Plaintiff had no access, forge his signature on a Sunnova contract, and obligate him on an expensive quarter-century loan for solar panels that Sunnova represented would be free.
